DESTINATION OR DIRECTION?

EXCELLENCE IS LIKE THE HORIZON

Excellence and perfection. We chase them, but do we ever get there? It always made me ponder is excellence a destination if we actually never get there? 

Is excellence like the horizon? Something we see, we head for, but never actually get there?

And if so, then is excellence a direction, not a destination.

What I deemed excellence yesterday, is that excellence today?

Perhaps, excellence is right now, this moment? Then excellence is the next moment, and the one after that?

From a leadership point of view, I'm always heading towards excellence, but comfortable in the fact I will never "get there". However, I can make sure this moment, this very one is excellence.
